On September 12, some 22,000 female runners will assemble in Paris to cover the 6 kms from the Pont d’Iéna to the Ecole Militaire in the 14th La Parisienne race. This race, for women only, is of course a sporting event, but it’s also a convivial time, full of an energy expressed through a new culture of sport for pleasure and health.

Two weeks later, on September 26, 2010, the classic Paris / Versailles will be run, covering 16 kms from the Eiffel Tower to the Palace of Versailles.

Runners of the French team of Vision IT Group will participate in these races. We wish them all good luck!

The ICT Spring Conference is a 2-day conference in Luxembourg to promote the IT sector in Europe through lectures, workshops, professional speed-dating sessions and meetings to discuss the latest technological developments.

Vision IT Group will have a permanent stand (7-8) at this event and will hold several sessions:
• Beat Steiger will lead a workshop on Cloud Computing (“Turning Speed into Function”) and will take part in one of the Round Tables.
• Sebastien Schaeck will present the new Microsoft Azure platform, to mark its official launch.

Vision IT Group will take part in the ISEP School Forum on February 25, 2010 from 1PM to 5:30PM in the school premises (28, rue Notre Dame des Champs - Paris 6ème).

The 4L Trophy ™ is a student-only Raid Adventure in the Moroccan desert on board of Renault 4L. Young adults in search of adventure are to live a single experience mixing sporting challenge, change of scenery and solidarity. The objective of the 4L Trophy ™ is indeed to bring school and sports supplies to the most destitute children of Morocco. For 13 years, it has been more than 15 000 children who benefited from all the educational material.

The 2010 edition will be launched on the 17 and 18 February departing from Paris and Bordeaux. After a mandatory stop at the Strait of Gibraltar, students will have to take up the challenge of 6 stages in the Moroccan South before arriving at Marrakech on February 26.
