Biographies

Luis Bedate

Photo Luis BEDATELuis Bedate, 62, is a director of Vision IT Group.
He is the President of Vision IT Spain (VITE). In this capacity, he approved the purchase of Selgan Tower in Madrid. Luis Bedate is presently working on other possible targets. .
He joined Vision IT Group in 2002 with the task of creating the Iberian subsidiary of the group.
From 1998 to 2002, he worked for GFI Informatique, which began its international expansion with the purchase of the Arcisa group. He helped GFI Informatique to make a number of acquisitions both in Spain and in Portugal in order to create a very profitable unit of more than 1,200 persons in less than 4 years. Between 1995 and 1998: he opened ARCISA LEVANTE in 1995 and ARCITEL in 1997.
Between 1992 and 1995, he founded ARCISA in Madrid, which was the first Spanish partner of technology leaders C/S, Powersoft and SYBASE. He began his career in IT during the 1970s. In 1977, he founded ECL in France and in Spain. The company was specialized in computer-aided manufacturing systems and, in 1986, he sold it to Steria. Luis Bedate is also a director of BEDINVER SICAV, TVNET, KEREOZ, SIERRA NEVADA SKI, GOLDEN BUILDING and TESIOS.
 

Philippe Bellet

Photo Philippe BELLETPhilippe Bellet, 42, holds an MBA from ESSEC.
He started his career et Telogy International, an American group specialized in test and measurement equipment. He entered the company as a Sales Representative and then became Sales Manager for France.
In 2000, he joined GFI Informatique as a Senior Sales Representative within the New Technology branch.
Beginning of 2001, Philippe Bellet created i2S Consulting (now Vision IT Group) with Marc URbany and Eric Denoun; he became Sales Director for France.
He was appointed General Director for France on September 1st, 2008.
 
Céline Coucaud

Photo Céline COUCAUDCéline Coucaud, 32, has a Master’s degree in Marketing and Communications from Marymount Manhattan College in New York as well a communications degree from l'EFAP-New York.
1999 to the end of 2001, in the midst of the Internet bubble, she was given responsibility for online marketing in two high technology Internet start-ups in the North American region.
From 2001 to 2006, she was the Marketing and Communications Manager at ILOG (now IBM) with the special task of defining and implementing communications activities intended for clients and prospects in Europe.
In 2006, she joined Vision IT Group as Director of Communications

Malcolm Delval

Malcolm Delval, 35, is a graduate of the Ecole des Mines de Nancy (Nancy Engineering School).
He began his career in 1999 with the Accor Group, firstly in Great Britain, then in Spain and finally in France where he was project leader in a specialist department.
In 2001, he joined Métris, a subsidiary of the Optium Group, as a consultant. He was to work in Mauritania for two years on an SAP/HRA project before managing the Business Unit and finally becoming Director of Operations in 2006.
As such, he was involved in the reunification of the Group's Consultancy strenghts until it was bought out, in 2007, by Vision IT Group.
In 2009, the decision to structure the Consultancy activities of Vision IT Group within an independent entity resulted in the formation of Vision Consulting Group, which he will be heading in 2010.

Eric Denoun

Photo Eric DENOUNEric Denoun, 47, is President for France and Executive General Director for BeLux.
Eric holds a degree from the PARIS IX Dauphine University
In early 2001, he created i2S Consulting (now Vision IT Group) with Marc Urbany and became its CEO. From 1990 to 2001, following a successful career in the service company Altran Technologies, he took part in the founding of a joint subsidiary of IBM/Dassault Electronique called DE3i Informatique and specialized in the field of network infrastructures and open systems.
In 1997, when DE3i Informatique was purchased by the GFI Informatique, he became Sales Director of the entity Nouvelles Technologies. He began his career at EDF within the R&D Department.

Lorenzo Dotta

Photo Lorenzo DOTTALorenzo, 46, carried out his military service as a 2nd Lieutenant in the mountain infantry.
After occupying many technical posts at SDP and CSI Piemonte, he joined Sisge Informatica in 1993 as the main shareholder. His objective was to develop the market of In Vitro Diagnostics. The company was divided in 1997, creating Sisge SRL, which kept the activities around the health profession. Sisge became part of the Vision IT Group in 2005 and Lorenzo Dotta has since moved on to become the General Director of Italy. 

Sandrine Lipartiti

Sandrine Lipartiti42 years old, she started her career at the European Commission in 1990, where she spent seven years in the Informatics Directorate team (contractual and HR responsabilities).
In 1997, she joined 3i (now Aubay) as Sales Manager in charge of developing the international sector.
She joined Vision IT Group in January 2003, assuming sales functions, management of consultants and recruitment for the Consulting Department.
In September 2008, she was appointed Sales Manager of Vision IT Group Belgium (Lasne).
 
Tomas Lopez

Photo Tomas LOPEZTomas Lopez joined Vision IT Group in 2008 and is General Director of Drago Solutions | Vision IT Group in Spain.
In July 2010, he was appointed President of Vision IT Group Portugal with the creation of this new subsidiary.

 

 


Externalis, represented by Alain Mallart

Alain MallartAlain Mallart, 64, is the permanent representative of Externalis and a Director of Vision IT Group. Alain began his career in Crédit Vendôme and then turned to recycling industrial and mining waste. In 1983, he created the Novalliance group, which became one of the premiere groups of ground logistics in France (Mory, Stockalliance, Transalliance) with 1,500,000 sq m of warehouses (of which 400,000 sq m are in GARONOR). He sold Novalliance in 1995.
At the end of 1994, together with his colleague Jacques Tordjman, he set up the IT company GFI, owning 75% of its capital and financing its major development. This company, which he left in 1999, now has a turnover of €550m. At the end of the 1990s, Alain became a partner, alongside Suez Environnement in various companies processing waste in the Indian Ocean.

Since 2002, he has also been very active via his Belgian holding company in the area of risk capital. Recently he refocused his activities in the domain of renewable energies, collaborating with various local partners.

Manuel Michel

Photo Manuel MICHELManuel Michel, 37, holds an Executive MBA from ESSEC. He also holds a DECF, a DESCF and is graduated from ESC Le Havre.
He began his carrier in 1997 at KPMG and participated in several missions as an auditor for the Telecommunications, banking and services industry.
In 2001, he joined an IT engineering company, Telecom Axiome Technologies, a french subsidiary of S.E.S.A as Financial Administrative Director.
In 2005, the S.E.S.A group was bought by the Scandinavian
TietoEnator, specialized in the IT services. As a consequence, Axiome Technologies became TietoEnator France and Manuel became Financial Administrative Director of France, Belgium and Portugal.
Endowed with a solid knowledge of IT engineering and consulting company, Manuel joined Vision IT Group in March 2008 as a Chief Financial Officer.


Philippe Muffat-es-Jacques

Photo Philippe MUFFAT-ES-JACQUESPhilippe Muffat-es-Jacques, 47, is Chairman of the Board of Vision IT Group. He is chiefly responsible for finance, legal affairs, overseeing the management, the relations of Vision IT Group with its banks and shareholders, acquisitions and communications of Vision IT Group.
At the start of 2002, he integrated Vision IT Group in his capacity as Co-Chairman. From 1995 to 2002, together with Alain Mallart, he bought GFI Informatique and took the post of Financial Director. In May 1998, while keeping his duties in the group, he founded and performed the functions of President of GFI International. He created and made this subsidiary very profitable thanks to acquisitions and internal growth in 12 countries, with a headcount of 3,500 engineers. In 1992, he joined EDS as Financial Controller of the recently acquired unit GFI Informatique. Then he was sell-off of the divisions Software Packages and Services of EDS-GFI in 1994. He then became the Chief Financial Officer of the new GFI Informatique.
From 1985 to 1992, he was responsible for overseeing the management of the Hôtels Méridien group and participated in numerous acquisitions and creation of financing deals with investors. He holds a Master in Business Administration degree from Ottawa University. He also has a university degree in accounting and finance (DESCF) and a diploma in commercial sciences from the Ecole Supérieure Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliquées. He is also President of the Board of Overseers of the Laboratoire Bertin SA (where he was Chairman and CEO until June 2007), Director of F-Angel (Gmbh) Sarl, Director of Delta Car Trade SA (Switzerland) and President of BMB SAS (France) since April 2007.

Dejan Popovic

Dejan PopovicDejan Popovic, 45, holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Podgorica (Montenegro) and a master's Degree in Microprocessors and Operating Systems from the Univertisty of La Habana (Cuba).
He started his professional career in Spain where, after a first experience at a Spanish System Integrator, he held the position of Presales Manager in Sybase Iberia.
Then he moved to Italy to work at the Italian integrator Pride SpA, in which he held several positions: CTO of the R&D Department in Naples, Country Manager of the Spanish start-up subsidiary in Madrid and Manager of the top level process consultancy in significant Public Administration and Energy & Utility customers in Rome where he resides today.
He joined Vision IT Group in May 2010 as a Business Development Manager and to help promote synergies in the group.

Jean-Michel Remiche

Photo Jean-Michel REMICHEJean-Michel Remiche, 41, is General Director for Luxembourg
and holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the Institut Gramme (Liège, Belgium).
Jean-Michel joined Vision IT Group in 2001 as Technical Operation Manager.
Previously he successively exercised the duties of Systems Engineer (Econocom), of Branch Manager (Advanced Software Training) and of Technical Manager (PeopleWare). From 1995 to 1996, he held the post of IT Manager at Banque Cogeba Gonet Luxembourg, where he was attached to the administration of banking infrastructures but above all to the development of solutions to assist in financial decision-making. He has been director of Vision IT Group Luxembourg since January 1, 2007..

Remo Rigoni

Remo RigoniRemo Rigoni, 43, holds a degree in Organization (Confédération Suisse), a degree in Economics (NDS) of SFB, a degree in IT-Technology (NDS).
He started his career as Co-Founder of a IT-Company specialized for Client-Management-Tools, Lifecycle-Management and Service-Organization.
Then he was CIO of the German Insurance-Concern Gerling (later HDI-Gerling). He worked 10 years for Gerling/HDI-Gerling. In this time he developed different Insurance-Software, reorganized the Business-Processes and won 2006 the Innovation-Prize for the best IT-Tool of all Insurance-Companies in Switzerland.
Remo joined Vision Vertical in 2007. Until 2009 he was COO, since 2010 he is CEO of Vision Vertical in Switzerland.

Abram Schermer

Abram SchermerAbram Schermer has over 20 years of experience in the IT-industry.
After four successful years as Business Development Manager in the systems market at Compaq, he created TEQ International in January 1995. Under his management, TEQ International grew to an international company with over 300 employees in 6 countries in 2000.
In the beginning of 2002 Abram had the vision to found a company that led in system integration and centralization of information: Qwise. In the recent years, Qwise has established a leading position in the Dutch market for advanced IT infrastructures and virtualization.
Qwise became part of Vision IT Group in July 2010 and Abram Schermer has since moved on to become General Manager of the Netherlands and is member of the Executive Committee.

Dieter Schwarz

Dieter SchwarzDieter Schwarz holds a degree in Business Administration.
He started his professional career in 1978 as Regional Manager at CSC Ploenkze AG. In 1986, he moved to FWU Firmengruppe as General Manager fo seven years. In 1994, he founded and became a Managing Partner at SPS & Associates. In 2000, he joined GFI Informatik Deutschland as General Manager.
GFI Informatik Deutschland became part of Vision IT Group in 2010 and Dieter Schwarz has since moved on to become General Manager of Deutschland.

Beat Steiger

Photo Beat STEIGERBeat Steiger, 51, has diplomas in mechanical engineering, in enterprise management engineering (FH) and in Information Technologies (WISS).
In 1988, he founded Vertical AG, where he was President until 2006.
This service company in infrastructures, web development and data centers joined Vision IT Group in 2006.
Since then, Beat Steiger has been Regional Director for Switzerland. He has been Grid Manager since January 1st 2009; his mission is to encourage technological and sales synergies in the Group.

Benoît Ter Burg

Photo Benoît TER BURGBenoît, 38, has a dual bachelor’s degree and teaching diploma from the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium.
He began his career in 1996 in an IT services company operating in the Belgium-Luxembourg region, an authorized Microsoft partner, where he was a consultant and trainer in network technologies.
From the beginning of 1998, he took over responsibility of the training unit with the mission of making this into an IT training department intended for professionals in the sector and end-users.
In 2000, this company joined Vision IT Group and Benoît took charge of the management the Training Business Unit for the group. In 2010, he is nominated General Director for Vision IT Group Belgium (Lasne / Walloon area of Belgium) in addition of its other functions.

VIT Management, director, represented by Marc Urbany

Photo Marc URBANYMarc Urbany, 52, is the permanent representative of VIT Management, Director of Vision IT Group.He is Co-Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Vision IT Group.
In this capacity, Marc Urbany is responsible for overseeing the directors of the various business units of Vision IT Group, for implementing the development plan, the strategic and operational plan for marketing, the plan of business development of the group, and monitoring the execution of the budgets.
In January 2001, he founded VISION IT GROUP, where he is today Co-Chairman. Previously, in 1989, he created Netstar Technologies; a company specialized in new technologies and the Internet. In 1996, GFI Informatique acquired Netstar Technologies, which became, under the guidance of Marc Urbany, its centre for new technologies with more than 1,000 engineers in 2000. In 1985, he set up Sinfor Telecom (SSII), following a career as consulting engineer in an enterprise specialized in Telecommunications (1985 to 1989). Marc Urbany is an Electronics Engineer (ISEN). 

 
Rudy Van Thuyne

Rudy Van ThuyneRudy Van Thuyne, 49, got his diploma in computer science with a specialization of systems analysis and management (Hogeschool Gent) in 1980.
He started his career as an analyst and consultant at the office of the MSC COMPUTING software. Afterwards, the American company NL CHEMICALS offers him a job as IT Manager.
In 1987, he joined VDS-Computing as Application Development Consultancy Manager. In 2006, VDS-Computing was integrated in the European group VISION IT GROUP. At this occasion, Rudy took news responsibilities as Business Unit Manager. 
In 2010, he was appointed Managing Director of VISION IT GROUP Belgium-VDS Computing (Flanders, Lokeren).

Finanziaria Di Trastevere, represented by Marc Wargny

He is the permanent representative of Finanziaria, a Director of Vision IT Group. He has been CEO and Chairman of the Board of Wargny – a stock broking company. He has also been director of Financière Wargny and Wargny Associés.
Between 2000 and 2004, he was director of the Private Bank Fideuram Wargny. Since 2000, he has been director of the management company Eraam and, since 2002; he has been CEO and Chairman of the Board of Finanziaria di Trastevere.
